Kylie Minogue gets a “kick” out of smelling other people wearing her perfume.
The 41-year-old singer admits it’s quite thrilling when she discovers somebody is using one of her fragrances and can smell it on them when she walks into a room.
Kylie - who has launched Daring and Showtime - said: “I can walk into a room and go, ‘Woah, you’re wearing Showtime.’ It’s a thrill to smell your perfumes, a total kick. It’s like hearing your song on the radio, or a story, like, ‘We played your songs at our wedding.’ The human element is the ultimate buzz.”
The fragrances are just fun, and there’s been no misunderstanding with the people I work with as to what the quality has to be, and the price range.
Kylie’s fragrances have become a huge hit and she thinks her success is down to the fact she is happy in her personal life.
The ‘Wow’ singer - who is rumoured to be engaged to Spanish model Andres Velencoso - I think these projects took off because I’m at a time in my life where I’m happy. I know who I am. People get me.

Kylie Minogue is to work with Xenomania again for her next album, it was reported today.
The singer previously worked with the production and writing team on her 2005 top ten single ‘Giving You Up’, which appeared on the previous year’s Ultimate Kylie compilation.
A source told The Sun: “Kylie has been a huge fan of Xenomania for ages.
“Kylie wants to come back with a bang. Her last album, X, sold quite well but it wasn’t the triumphant return to form many people hoped for.”
They added: “By working with Xenomania she hopes she can create a really coherent album which will connect her right back to the pop market.”
The team have reportedly been asked to contribute six tracks, with the remainder of the record to be penned by songwriter Nerina Pallot.
Other artists linked to Minogue’s 11th studio album include Paula Abdul and Frankmusik.

Whoo, it took me a while, but I have finally got the chance to post about the first-ever Polish performance of our Kylie. She took the stage at the Gdańsk’s Shipyard around 11:30 PM and performed for about 2 hours. She sang 19 songs, including the hits, such as Can’t Get You Out Of My Head, Kids and I Should Be So Lucky as well as some of the X tracks, i.e: Speakerphone and Like a Drug. The audience of over 70 000 people was cheerful and loved Kylie’s performance and I must say that the media here in Poland loved her as well. I’ve added a bunch of great photos from the concert as well as two videos of her performing Wow and Love at First Sight. Enjoy! (:
Check out two videos of Kylie performing at the event behind the cut!
