I’ve been a fan of Kylie since the Light Years release in 2000. I didn’t know her previous works and was astonished how great is music she makes. Then, the smash hit Can’t Get You Out Of My Had topped the charts across the world and I went crazy about Kylie. I found [and I'm still finding] her as one of the greatest pop artists ever. The release of other singles from Fever as well as the Body Language era cemented my opinion about Kylie. I was truely terrified when she was diagnosed with breast cancer and had to cancel Showgirl – The Greatest Hits Tour. Things were rather quiet in Kylie’s world throughout the 2005 and much part of 2006, but then I have read a wonderful news, that Kylie is going to re-launch her tour. I was so happy when I saw her on the stage in Sydney. And that’s the moment when the idea of making a Kylie fansite came to me.

I knew that there were some great Kylie sites around the Web, but I tried. I designed a layout, applied for hosting over at F-S.org and was accepted! Kylie Fan opened it’s doors on January 26th 2007 under the subdomain kylie.fan-sites.org. I was working my butt off to make this site worth a visit and Gertie appreciated that and bought a domain for us! The site moved to kylie-fan.net on February 11th 2007. Since then we have went from a small shrine to one of the biggest Kylie fansites, with the biggest, ever-growing image gallery and a bunch of media files.
